Alpha Cars – Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Alpha Cars. By using our private hire services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions
  • “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to Alpha Cars.
  • “Customer,” “you,” or “your” means any individual or entity booking or using our services.
  • “Driver” means any licensed individual contracted or employed by Alpha Cars to operate a vehicle.
  • “Service” means the private hire transportation services provided by Alpha Cars.

2. Booking and Payment
  • All bookings must be made through our website, mobile app, phone, or in person.
  • Bookings are subject to availability.
  • Prices are provided at the time of booking and may vary based on time, distance, and type of service.
  • Additional charges such as airport car park or drop-off fees may apply and are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Payment can be made by cash, credit/debit card, or via our online booking system.
  • Full payment must be made before or at the end of the journey unless otherwise agreed.

3. Cancellations and Refunds
  • Cancellations must be made before the dispatch of the vehicle to avoid charges.
  • If a booking is not cancelled and becomes a no-show Alpha Cars reserves the right to charge for the full journey, parking costs (if applicable).
  • Refunds for cancelled services are at the discretion of Alpha Cars.

4. Passenger Conduct
  • Passengers must behave in a safe and respectful manner at all times.
  • Alpha Cars reserves the right to refuse service to any passenger behaving inappropriately or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  • Any damage to the vehicle caused by a passenger, including soiling of the interior (e.g., vomiting, spills, or other contamination), will result in acleaning charge of up to £100 to cover the cost of professional cleaning and loss of earnings while the vehicle is out of service.
  • The cleaning fee is payable immediately and may be charged to the payment method used for the booking.

5. Delays and Liability
  • We aim to be punctual but are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including traffic, weather, or road closures.
  • Alpha Cars shall not be held responsible for any losses arising from missed flights, trains, or appointments due to unforeseen delays.
  • Customers are responsible for allowing sufficient time for their journey.

6. Luggage and Personal Belongings
  • Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings.
  • Alpha Cars accepts no liability for lost or damaged items left in the vehicle.
  • Oversized or excess luggage must be declared at the time of booking.

7. Accounts and Corporate Bookings
  • Businesses may apply for a corporate account subject to approval and credit checks.
  • Monthly invoices must be paid within 30 days of issue.
  • Failure to pay on time may result in account suspension or legal action.

8. Complaints
  • We strive for excellent customer service. Any complaints should be directed to our customer support team within 7 days of the incident.
  • Complaints should be submitted via our website or email.
  • Alpha Cars aims to acknowledge all complaints within 3 working days. Investigation and response to the complainant may take up to 7 working days.

9. Privacy Policy
  • We collect and use personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available [insert link].
  • By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your data as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

10. Amendments
  • Alpha Cars reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
